Welcome! I am currently Deputy Director and Research Fellow at the Oriental Institute of the Czech Academy of Sciences focusing on the history, culture, and politics of Iran. I write frequently about Iran, the Middle East, and U.S. foreign policy in academic outlets and the international press. I also manage the 9/11 Legacies Project, which maps the many forgotten, marginalized, and misunderstood legacies of the Global War on Terror, and serve on the editorial committee of The Middle East Research and Information Project (MERIP). You can find my latest writings here or visit the publications page for a more comprehensive look.
